Nice welcome into the pub from the dogs and efficient room registration. I had reserved the wrong room (a double rather than a twin). The room was rearranged for us in 10 minutes. We were very appreciative. All round good accommodation.
Great dinner here. We came here with friends for dinner and a couple of beers and to watch the rugby. The prices were good by local standards and the food was delicious. The Korean Chicken was especially incredible. My wife ordered this but she kindly let me eat some of it. Actually we all sort of wished we’d ordered that. The staff were very friendly and helpful and always on hand even though the place was packed out. Will definitely come again and would highly recommend.
Friendly staff (and locals), with great service. Only visited for food & drink, so can't comment on the rooms. If the standard and quality continues there, then I doubt people will be disappointed.
Basic, but clean and cosy room. Decent bar/pub, and reasonably cheap but 5 minutes walk from the bars and shops of St. Andrews.
Late lunch here with a pal and didn't disappoint,great food,, staff and service.
We received a warm and welcoming check-in at the bar. Once checked in, there's a separate entrance that you can use. The room was very clean, comfortable, and kept at a nice temperature. The bed was huge, probably king size. Along with the tea and coffee items were two packets, each containing two biscuits, which was a nice treat. The TV was easy to use and the shower above the bath had a good steady pressure and temperature. We had a room facing the main road, but were not troubled by the small amount of passing traffic, nor did we hear any sound from the pub downstairs. Parking is on the road, but we found a space right outside the front of the inn.
A proper local frequented with friendly locals. Best pub I've been in at St Andrews. Guinness £5.20 a pint; cheapest I've found. They do food and they do rooms and they play Elvis on the juke box. What's not to like. Thank you.
